Last week our MD Pete Evans attended the annual Objective Management Group (OMG) International Partners Conference in Boston, Massachusetts where Ventas was named the leading UK partner of Objective Management Group.
This award recognises the contribution that Ventas has made to the sales of OMG products and services to UK-based businesses in 2018.
Commenting on the award, Pete Evans said: “OMG has been voted the best sales effectiveness tool in the world for the 8th consecutive year. “We love OMG because it provides the science behind understanding sales effectiveness and provides timely and critical information to help CEOs, MDs and sales leaders figure out exactly what’s stopping their sales force from fast tracking their sales growth.
“We are looking forward to being able to help even more UK-based businesses unlock their sales potential in 2019 and beyond.
“I would also like to thank all the clients who supported Ventas over the last 12 months and continue to support us in helping them grow sales.
Speaking about the award presented to Ventas, OMG CEO and Founder, Dave Kurlan said: “Pete has tremendous knowledge of our world-class tools and the ability to help his clients grow their revenue. As a result, he has enjoyed significant success over the last 12 months. UK businesses from SMEs to large corporates, across a range of industries, have benefited from working with him. Pete is deserving of this award which recognises his contribution to the sales of OMG tools to UK-based businesses in 2018.”
The OMG Conference was also an opportunity for the partners to gain fresh data insights from OMG. If you are a sales leader, CEO or MD, then the following insights are contributing to why your salespeople are either not hitting target or are not getting their unfair “share of wallet”.
70% of WEAK salespeople have plenty of motivation. Yet 53% of them lack the commitment it takes to actually be successful. And if that weren’t bad enough, 67% of them make excuses about their performance. These stats are based on the findings from the 1.9 million salespeople that OMG have evaluated globally.
So if you are a CEO, MD or sales leader, what are you doing to measure the difference between motivation and commitment in your sales teams? What are you doing to cut out the excuse making in your sales teams? Do you even recognise the excuse makers?
Would you continue to hire weak salespeople who lack commitment and make excuses?
To celebrate our recognition as the UK’s leading OMG Partner, Ventas would like to offer a complimentary 60 minute sales strategy session to the first 20 businesses that register (subject to qualifying criteria) below.
